Kevin Surace redesigned the wallboard, a basic construction material, so as to reduce the huge carbon footprint generated by manufacturing and constructing buildings. “Of the worldwide sources of CO2, 52 percent are tied to buildings.” To help tackle this problem Kevin designed the EcoRock, a clean, recyclable and energy-efficient drywall.
